DBA Information
According to the Arizona Dept. of State (Div. of Corp.), “failure to comply with the fictitious name registration provisions of section 865.09, F.S., is a misdemeanor of the second degree and punishable as provided in section 775.082 or section 775.083, F.S.”
In Florida you can file your DBA (aka trade name, assumed name or fictitious business name) yourself with your Department of State (Division of Corporations). Or, use a legal document service such as Swyft Fillings to handle the entire process for you.
Swyft Fillings charges $99.00 (plus state filing fees) for Florida DBA’s. Click here to learn more about pricing.
